Magicians Assistant from Beetlejuice Costume

So I bought 2 mannequin legs and spray painted them blue. I made the couch from pvc pipe, which I pipe glued, cardboard, and duck tape. I cut the legs some so they would cross better and screwed them together. Cutting a hole under where the legs would be sitting allowed me to use a shoelace to keep them in place, that also allowed the legs to move for easy transport and getting through doorways. My daughter put on a tight dress and I duck taped around her, cut it off and re-taped for the torso. I cut an old dress in half for me and the torso, added toilet paper, latex, and some fake blood. I made the pillow with some black fabric for stripes and spray glued it on. I hand painted the people for the book and sat on a stool with wheels, so I could walk around! I had so much fun on Halloween!
