Maleficent Costume

I started with a basic pattern and made the dress but added shoulder pieces using wire and super stiff interfacing.

The headpiece was a little more difficult. I placed a swim cap over my hair and my husband used homemade paste made from flour and water and strips of newspaper to cover my head. An old set of horns found at Goodwill were placed and paper mached in place. Once dried, I cut the shape and used black pleather fabric and electrical tape to finish the look.

My make up was done using normal everyday makeup with strategic placement for emphasis on nose and cheek bones.

I bought green contacts to finish the look
