Maleficent Costume

For almost a year my (then 2 year old) daughter has said she wanted to be Maleficent for Halloween. I hoped she would change her mind over the many months, but she did not. The thought of keeping heavy horns on a toddlers sensitive head for hours seemed dreadful. I searched all sites and diy’s on how to make this happen for her. I finally found someone who did 3D printing and had them create horns. Then I incorporated felt to make a headband comfortable on her head, then covered that with her hair. Her staff was a piece of PVC covered in electrical tap and I fixed a ball from a baby toy on top. Added a velvet cape and some red lips.. Boom, 3 year old maleficent was born.
