This homemade costume for babies entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Aubrey, the 'Mandrake' costume creator:
I love Halloween! So as soon as I learned I was pregnant I didn’t start researching baby items, but instead started planning Halloween costumes. So with a large flowerpot, fake leaves, a baby headband and just a touch of hot glue, I had one happy mandrake. Literally I was taking pictures for over an hour before my son started getting fussy enough for the classic unhappy Mandrake look. Apparently he is to mild tempered to qualify for an actual Mandrake.
