Marge and Homer Simpson Costume

My husband and I did Homer and Marge Simpson. We hadn't seen any done where people actually looked normal they always did big weird eyes so we got the clothing pieces which were simple every day items and I got a long blue cosplay wig for like $8 on eBay we mixed yellow body paint from party city with lotion to lighten it and make it easier to spread then set it with baby powder. I pinned my wig to my head then piled it up like an updo on my head and sprayed thoroughly with hair spray to set. Little big eye makeup on me and a Springfield nuclear power plant name badge for him and we were set. After everything because so many items were basics we spent under $50 to complete both costumes.
