This homemade costume for kids entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Alex, the 'Mario, Princess Peach and Toad' costume creator:
My 5 year old son Axle, (Aka Mario) is obsessed with all things Mario. His little sister Evelyn (3) lives her life as Princess Peach every day, and my baby Ruby (1) just made the PERFECT Toad! I crafted most of the detail work from foam and super glue. I am by no means a "crafty" mom, so I was quite pleased with how it all came together! They placed in the top 3 in 3 local costume contests and they all played their parts so well.
