This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.

I'm wearing a costume made from scratch, dedicated to one of my favorite movies of all time, Mars Attacks! Each of those swirls on my dress is hand-painted with Tulip fabric paint! The dress is made from a heavy lycra, and a hoop at the hem helps keep the mermaid shape!
