This homemade costume for adults entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Megan, the 'Marvin the Martian' costume creator:
This is my halloween costume for 2014! Marvin the Martian glow costume. I am a mechanical engineer and work on the Mars rover project. I couldn't think of a better costume that good 'ole Marvin. I made this using EL wire, a black dress and some 18 gauge wire. I used the wire and zip ties to secure the EL Wire and keep it's shape, then sewed it to a black dress. To keep Marvin's head in proportion with his body, I put him in his spaceship. It looks like he's flying around when I wear it and dancing really brings him to life!
