This homemade costume for men entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Alexander, the 'Master Chief' costume creator:
I built this costume from scratch over the course of one year. It would be impossible to give a "short" description on how it was made, but the materials used include fiberglass, bondo, and lots of elbow grease. There are 15 individual armor pieces all held in place with a custom set of straps and an undersuit. There are 18 individual led lights in the armor, and it also features a defrost/cooling fan in the helmet as well as a voice amplifier.
