Maverick & his Goose Costume

My son Maverick is 6 months old and wearing the costume. Because his name is Maverick we thought Top Gun would be great for his first Halloween. My husband is dressed as Goose and with him being a baby I don’t have any solo pictures. Maverick’s hat was plain black I found the design for their helmets from the movie and converted them and used heat transfer vinyl to make their hats. My husbands flight suit I purchased but Maverick’s I found a coverall pattern and switch all the snaps etc to a zipper. I found images of the patches for the flight suit online and printed them onto heat transfer vinyl. For his jet I used a lot of cardboard, duct tape and hot glue. Then covered it in fabric and made the words etc and used heat transfer vinyl for those as well.
