This homemade costume for pets entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lissette, the 'Max-Bee' costume creator:
Jax, our precious rescue, is the model. I was inspired to make the costume when I saw the wings at a local 99 cent store. Upon putting the wings on Jax it was obvious we needed to up our game. I proceeded to buy striped fabric and peruse through Pinterest for ideas on some type of body piece I could make to complement the wings. After playing around with a few options, I found something that worked. The final touch was a head piece. Total cost: $7
