This homemade costume for women entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Melanie, the 'Mermaid' costume creator:
My name is Melanie Lee, and I chose to be a mermaid for my Halloween costume. I found the idea on Pinterest, and just thought it was so clever. I used fish nets to make the scales, and added gems and sparkles to make the look really pop. I bought the bra from ravewonderland.com and added the seashells and flowers to it. Then to top it off I added a long platinum wig to really make this look amazing.
