This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Yasmin, the 'Mermaid' costume creator:
I went to walmart and got some silver glittery fabric for the body. Also, I got a headband and tied silver/green, white, and purple tulle for the tail. Additionally, I bought a small crown from the dollar store and hot glued seashells onto the crown.
