Mickey and Minnie Costume

My 15 year old daughter and her friend decided they wanted to be Mickey and Minnie Mouse this year. I made their costumes with a rose theme. I found some pretty lace material with white dots and roses for Minnie’s skirt. The rest of their costumes are made with rose brocade fabric. They wanted tails, so I made tails with wires inside so they could bend around. Their heads are made from a minky rose cuddle fabric. Minnie has some really great fake eyelashes to look like Minnie, and they have black jewels glued to their noses with eyelash glue. My daughter was sick on Halloween, so they were disappointed that they couldn’t wear them for that day, but they had fun letting me take pictures of them before Halloween. People who saw them really liked them; one family wanted them to be in their family photo shoot. Happy 90th Birthday Mickey!!
