This homemade costume for women entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Samantha, the 'Midsommar May Queen' costume creator:
I made this costume entirely by hand! I am pictured in the photo wearing the Midsommar May Queen gown from Ari Aster's strange horror film. This was such a labor of love to make - it took me over a whole month of daily sewing, cutting, hot gluing and piecing together fake flowers on top of a thick green canvas to create this fantastical piece. It was so much fun!
