Miller High Life Girl in the Moon Costume

I, Laura, am wearing the Miller Witch or Miller Girl in the Moon costume. Miller High Life Beer is my husbands favorite beer and I got the idea from the packaging. My Miller High Life Girl in the Moon costume was sewn by myself from a twin bed flat sheet. I made the skirt and my jacket out of that material. I made the underskirt for my costume out of some black and gold tulle material and attached an elastic waistband. I found the belt, scarf and my striped tank at a thrift store and bought the tights, hat and flower in my hair brand new and wore a pair of shoes that matched the costume well. Since my husbands costume was the matching Miller High Life Beer Can, we made a crescent moon out of cardboard and spray painted it gold. I then changed into my costume and sat in front of the moon on a stool with a pint and can of miller to pose for the photo that we later attached to the beer can costume to look just like a real can of Miller High Life. I would guess that the total cost to make this costume was around $15. Most of the materials I used were either recycled or we had laying around. The items that I did purchase specifically for this costume probably totaled around $15. I had a lot of fun making these costumes and they were a big hit at our annual Halloween party that we host every year.
