Minecraft Steve Costume

This costume was inspired by my son's obsession with the video game Minecraft. Originally, it was just going to be Steve but we were having so much fun with it, we decided to attempt the pig as well. Since we recently moved, cardboard boxes were everywhere and the perfect start for this costume. Most of them were the right size but some had to be rebuilt to fit his body. Once the framework was complete, all that was left was paint! And a pick axe (which was the only thing we didnt make). Unfortunately, the weather was horrendous and we only made it to about six houses. That's alright! It will make the perfect decoration for his Minecraft themed birthday part in a couple of months! This costume took a lot of blood, sweat and tears but was totally worth it. My son was thrilled and this will be something that he will always remember!
