Mini Penny Costume

My 6 year old daughter, Carrington is wearing this costume. She got the idea after watching the IT mini series and then seeing all the new IT photos as soon as they were released. We started working on it in April and the finished project was completed at the first of October. The wig was actually 2 separate wigs, one with a balding cap, the other with just the netting. I took. It’s wigs, completely cut all the strands of hair off, colored each strand. I then re-sewed them back onto the wig with the balding cap. I then used acrylic paint and cotton to texture the balding area and make the build up. Her costume was handmade to fit her measurements. Her boots are leather that had been stripped down and I hand painted them. This was all her idea with her micromanaging the process making sure the details of HER costume was the way that she wanted it and the way she portrayed Pennywise the Dancing Clown!
