Minions Costume

My boys wanted to be minions for Halloween, and I was up for the challenge! We wrapped poster board around their bodies and taped it into a tube. (I would use soft foam board in the future if you can. Would be more comfortable for them.) We got extra large balloons, put them in the tubes, and used paper mache over the balloons for the heads. Lots of paint later, we cut out the mouths and clued mesh so they could see through it. The eyes were styrafoam wheels and foam for the glasses. The teeth and tongue were leo made from foam. Pipecleaners for the hair. Finally, I found women's short overalls on a clearance rack and glued them to the costumes. A pillow in their heads made them more comfortable.
