Moana Costume

My 1yr old granddaughters obsession with the movie Moana was the inspiration in her Halloween costume. It was originally for her birthday in September but we were not able to use because her party was canceled due to Hurricane Irma.
My husband bought fabric, fabric paint, hot glue, grass skirt, bamboo sticks, wheels, canvas, cast wheels, and a few other materials to create this inspiration. Her happiness was his inspiration. He spent about a week working on the costume and raft. He hand made everything from Moana’s shirt, skirt, belt, heart of tefti, raft and raft seat.
While taking her trunk or treating we had people stopping us just to take pictures of her saying it was the cutest thing they have seen. Our daughter posted a picture of the final costume on her Facebook page and it got over 480 likes. People were asking if we would sell or even rent out the raft and costume.
