This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Laura, the 'Monkey with a Big Banana' costume creator:
I don't know where he came up with the idea but my grandson wanted to be a banana for Halloween. I made the banana with fleece for about $10. I bought the pants and shirt from Walmart for under $10. I picked up a stuffed monkey from a thrift store for $2 and took off his body and put him on a bag that I made with fabric scraps. He's the cutest banana I've ever seen.
