Monster Musicians Costume

Our family decided that we'd love to dress up as famous musicians with a twist. We always try to think of a theme that everyone and their grandma isn't doing, so we planned to mix two characters into each of our costumes. I decided to be the Ghost of Janis Joplin, my 11 year old daughter was Sia-Witch, my husband was John Lennon Werewolf, my 6 year old son was Skeleton Kiss, my 14 year old dressed as Madonna-Zombie, and my 10 year old was Vampire Elvis. We shop second hand stores to find clothes that work and then embellish them and sew the extras (i.e. we changed several pants into bellbottoms, added spikes and studs to the leather vest and boots, and sequins to the Elvis vest).
