This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Diana, the 'Morticia and Gomez Addams' costume creator:
We are a boyfriend/girlfriend couple that LOVE Halloween!! Because we somewhat already look like Morticia and Gomez in real life, we thought it would be the perfect costume.
I am wearing a dress that I bought at a thrift store and re-vamped using sheer material on the sleeves and slits. I made the dress a more defined mermaid silhouette and cut slits in the front and back where I added the sheer material. I dyed my hair black and added some extensions for length.
My boyfriend is wearing a pinstriped suit. We opted for the red tie and handkerchief to jazz it up a bit
