Mother Earth & Father Time Costume

My wife and I made and photographed our own Halloween costumes this year. We chose the theme of Mother Nature and Father Time because that seemed really appropriate for 2020.

Everything is 100% homemade with the exception of Father Time's dark gray robe and his wig/beard. My wife spent $0 on her costume, using scraps of fabric dyed with watercolor ink and other materials and art supplies we had on hand - right down to magnolia tree branches for the headpiece from our backyard tree trimming.

I'm a photographer and we shot these photographs on and near our camping property right outside of Ely, MN. The snow was our ideal backdrop but we didn't think we'd get this lucky. Mother Nature certainly delivered!
