This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Vickie, the '9' costume creator:
My 6yr old Son Mas recently watched the Tim Burtin movie 9 since then he is fascinated by the character 9 so when we asked what he wanted to for Halloween he said 9 we explained to him that movie was made yrs ago and there were no costumes for sale he said well I want to be 9 So me and my husband decided to make the costume our selves we watched YouTube videos and went online to look photos to make the costume and also improvised
We used:Burlap yarn glue sticks and a sewing machine for the suit. For the head: a ballon news paper starch and flour burlap card board duck tape. Stick: broom stick gum ball machine spray paint ornament tea light we bought rubber work gloves and spray painted them To our surprise it came out really good people recognized the character thank you hope you like the costume
