This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amber, the 'Avatar' costume creator:
I started this look by buying all my paint supplies at craft stores around town. My first step was creating my feather and beaded necklace, belt and bracelet. I wanted a specific look and feel. Next, I braided and painted my upper body and began to draw in my strips, along with my eyelashes and fake teeth. In the end, I think it all came together really well :) I hope you like it
