Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi Costume

This is me sporting my homemade Old Ben Kenobi Costume... A good friend of mine helped me make the robes and sashes, the belt was constructed from leather and all the belt hardware was added and weathered by hand using sandpaper and different leather dyes and shoe polish... The inner robe was hand weathered using a "tea staining" technique. I found the brown turtleneck at a thrift store and scored the boots on ebay for $15. My beard is real but I brushed in the white using regular white cream Halloween makeup... The light saber was pieced together over the past year from different parts acquired on the RPF and ebay... "A sophisticated weapon for a more civilized age"...
