Sir Didymus Costume

My husband and I learned how to make gelatin prosthetics by making a plaster cast of his face. After the cast was set, we built up clay to the desired end result. We then coated it with more plaster to create a negative mold. Once it was dry, we filled it with the gelatin mixture and then pressed the original face mold into it so the prosthetic would form to his face. After applying the prosthetic with liquid latex, we painted makeup on to make it look like the character. The entire costume was also sewn from scratch with no patterns.
