This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Diana, the 'Manolo' costume creator:
My son Joshua Smith is wearing this costume.
One of the main characters from the movie called “The Book of Life”
Made from boxes, black tape, Velcro, acrylic paint, foam inserts, paper, assorted craft items used for scrap books.
Cut and shape the boxes using the black tape, the foam goes on the inside to keep it in place.
Paper mache is used for the face, shape it to your liking sand and paint.
The skulls are hand made from thick paper
The guitar is made card board and paper mache
