The House from the Movie "Up" Costume

Halloween is my favorite holiday because it gives me a chance to express my creativity. I told my friend Brandon that I would make him whatever he wanted to be for Halloween this year. He chose Mr. Fredrickson's house with the balloons from the kids movie "Up". It took me around 20 hours spread over three weeks to make. The house is made mostly of cardboard, hot glue, gorilla tape, paint, and sharpies. We got real balloons and attached them to the back for more authenticity. An appliance stores gave me the cardboard for free and Brandon supplied any other items I needed (including pizza) to thank me for all of my hard work. It was a hit at our local Halloween party!
