The Legend of Voltron Costume

That is me in the picture. I am a 31 year old stay at home mom. I got the idea because I love the Voltron cartoon from back in the day and I wanted to take on a big crafting challenge! I spent about 50 hours of work, and put in about 20 dollars worth of materials. The materials I used are cardboard, duct tape, glue sticks, acrylic paint,a plain white costume mask, and multi colors of posterboard. I painted the mask, and constructed the body all out of carboard. It was structured by duct taping and glueing with glue sticks and a glue gun. After everything was constructed, I covered it all over with posterboard. Each piece had to be measured precicsely in order to be acurate, to scale, and fit my body size. It was a HUGE hit for Halloween!!
