This homemade costume for kids entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mark, the 'Transformers' costume creator:
My kids and their friend are wearing their homemade costumes made by me. They are made mostly from cardboard and polypropylene strapping for the hinges. The cardboard we get for free from the local grocery store, and we also use wooden paint "stir sticks" (also free) for reinforcement that we get from the local hardware store. Excluding matching shoes, each costume costs about $30 to make;........... that includes paint, material for clothing, and building supplies. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream have photos together..... We have just finished our latest costume Skywarp; but all his photos so far are with him alone
