A word from Lisa, the 'Trolls and Bergen' costume creator:
Myself and my family are all in Troll and Bergen themed costumes! I am in Dj Suki troll costume with the orange hair. I made these costumes myself. For mine I cut and sewed a pair of long white pants into Capri pants got a bunch of colored lace and tasles from Joanne fabrics and sewed on different color stripes to match the exact characters outfit and colors. I also handmade and hand stitched my own wig. I bought fake white spider web stuff from Halloween store I cut 3 pieces and used orange hair color spray to spray them and then I hand stitched the pieces together to make a tall wig. I also bought a pink jewel and attached that to my shirt with Velcro for my belly button. I also took a piece of fabric and hand painted flowers and stitched it onto ear muffs I used for my headphones. I also got pink face paint to paint my my face to match my pink shirt and stockings. My husband is king peppy troll he had the suit already so I added the orange socks and bought a green rope for his belt to add some color along with his orange fave paint I got as well as his hot pink wig mustache and eyebrows. My daughter is princess poppy troll and I handmade her dress with blue and white felt. I cut and eyeballed the dress pattern and added Velcro to strap the one side of th dress. I hand cut the bottom pattern of the dress price by peice by peice and then sewed on. I got pink pajamas and gloves to match along with her light pink painted face. Also got poppy sneakers with pink for on them And of course her pink ponytail. My youngest daughter is Lady glitter sparkles the Bergen that be-friended the trolls. I hand sewed her jumpsuit and couldn’t find the right pattern so I hand painted with fabric paint the brown squares onto it. I also used cream elastic and metal belt hook from Joanne fabric to make her belt. Found purple pajamas to be her purple skin and of course her wild colored wig along with her colorful roller skates. ALL for my children! My oldest daughter was the one to inspire me since she did not like any of the poppy troll outfits online because they all didn’t look like the real outfits from the movie. 😊
