We Found Nemo! Costume

Since our son is 3 years old and our daughter is 1 year old, we wanted a costume that they both can relate to and they both love the movie "Finding Nemo". Even more, the two kids have a very close relationship and love to be with each other all the time! We thought a sea anemone and a clown fish (Nemo) relationship perfectly describes their relationship. We used a smock vest and sewed ribbons on the vest and tied long twisting balloons on the smock for my son to be the sea anemone and my daughter was Nemo. The rest, was inspired by the movie, Darla and a scuba diver in which we found old clothes and placed a transfer iron on for the "rock n roll girl" sweat shirt and my husband wore yellow socks for the scuba flippers. It was the most fun we had and a crowd pleaser!.
