Mr Tumnus from Narnia Satyr Costume

My idea came from the Narnia movies with magical creatures including the Satyr, and half man half goat creature. My goal was to make realistic goat hooves.

I took 3x14 wood panels for my feet to rest on, and attached them angularly onto the 3x5 wood pieces which would be the base of the hoof that i would walk on. To keep the 3x14 from caving in, i had to suport them with small wood panels. Basically i made 14 in heels for myself. Being 5'8" , when i wore them i was over 6 feet tall .

After the basic frame was built, i took cloth, fur, even feathers to cover the wood, and my foot wich would be on the stilts, to make it look like an actual goats foot.

To complete my costume, i put together fur pants and ever a goast tail, adding a scarf and a panflute for accesories. When done, it was painful to walk on, but i had fun with my friends walking around the neighborhood. This is me wearing the costume.
