This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Debbie, the 'Ms. Butterworth' costume creator:
Saw one on Pinterest, thought I could do it better. Made the dress from a pilgrim pattern, put a wire hoop in the hem, paint bucket for a "cap" and spent 6 hours hand cutting and layering the letters for the apron. I spent about $20. Bucks total, and a couple days putting it together. I used 6yds posted details on my craft blog: msdebbie2u.com.
