This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Donna, the 'Mystical Unicorn' costume creator:
The model is my 8 yo daughter, Dana. This is her vision. A Mystical Unicorn called Heal the World. Her dad was a Nature Unicorn and I was a Fire Unicorn.
We made the mask from felt, embroidery keen, rhinestones, polyester filling in horn, colorful cord around horn and elastic headband.
The shirts were store bought but the Cutie Marks are diy silkscreen. We made looms from embroidery hoops, ultra sheer panty hose and acrylic paint.
The body is made from chicken wire, white fleece fabric, felt tail, polyester filling for weight, 2 swivel wheels, black faux leather for hooves, utility straps for harness and painted foam heart cut in half for Cutie Marks on hind quarters.
