This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennifer, the 'Night Walker' costume creator:
My son (age 12) has always had larger than life ideas for his costumes. This one is a feat of engineering. Not only is he on jumping stilts, he is using crutches that he has rigged with PVC, mattress foam, duct tape, and knit fabric for the other two legs. The combination was enough to scare multiple small children, especially at night.
He designed and built the entire rig. I helped him sew the fabric to the structure. He has plans next year to add exposed ribs, a spine and additional drapery.
