Nightmare Before Christmas Sally Costume

My 3-year-old daughter chose to be Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. She has loved the movie since she was 2! Unable to find a toddler size costume to purchase, I set to work shopping second-hand stores and raiding her closet. I made her wig by weaving yarn through a wig cap. I died the shirt and tights from white to "Sally" by diluting teal green and black dye to make it dingy. I drew the pattern on a tan dress then taped each colored patch off and painted them in using fabric spray paint. The black designs in the patches are either black puffy fabric paint or sharpie marker, as well as the tights and undershirt. Embroidery thread or sharpie marker is creating the patchwork-stitch look. Her striped ankle socks are cut from adult witche's tights. Her makeup is a blend of Snazaroo facepaints.
