This homemade costume for pets entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Janelle, the 'Not All Treasure is Gold' costume creator:
Who wouldn’t love to wear a parrot on their hat. And what better than a treasure chest of yummy dog bones. This costume is in 3 pieces. I bought the hat from a local pet store. The patch and gold hoop earring is to a little boys pirate costume and the shirt is an adult shirt bought from a thrift store. The biker costume is from the Bret Michaels pet line fom Petsmart, l believe that day Pearl was watching the movie “Wid Hogs”. And the 3rd picture, Pearl is wearing an adult St.Patricks Day headband and sitting next to her is a mug of cream soda with redi whip( a non-acholic beer look alike) which of course she got a few licks of.
