Old Lady and Carl from Up Costume

Paxton is the little old lady we always like to be different when it comes to Halloween so this yr we thought it would be cute for our kids to dress up like old people. Paxtons dress is a grown womans dress that has been cut down made to fit her size, we used grown panties and put a pillow in them for the big butt and then used a rubber band to tighten it up to fit her waist, also put a bra on her and put a small pillow in the straps on her back to make her back poke out. her walker is a real walker we cut down for her height. all of the items we have used in her costume were bought from thrift stores in total her costume cost about $15 all the extras she has on was just stuff we had at home her glasses came from the dollar tree and we popped the lens out so it wouldn't hurt her eyes. her trick or treat bag we just used a older looking black purse. she is 6 yrs old
Emory is carl the old man from the movie UP. his costumes was also bought at a thrift store his suit and white shirt cost us around $5, we sprayed his hair using white color spray from Walmart, his eye brows are used from mustaches we bought at the dollar tree and cut in half and then sprayed white with the hair color. I made his bow tie out of ribbon, and his pin on his jacket is made with a coke glass bottle lid with the grape soda drew on paper glued to it to look like the grape soda lid carl wears in up. his cane is made of pvc pipe then sprayed silver and we added the tennis balls for looks. his trick or treat bag is the house its self on up with balloons coming out of the chimney my husband made it out of cardboard then I panted it the colors of the house on up. also I just used black dress shoes for the old man costume.
