This homemade costume for women entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Emily, the 'Old School Army Girl' costume creator:
Halloween is the perfect time to be inspired by the past! I found an old ladies green outfit at the thrift shop for $10 and knew I could make it into a uniform. After visiting my grandmas house, raiding her button tin, and finding some scrap fabric, I started to piece the outfit together. My dad let me use his very own military pins too! Pin curls and red lips were the icing on the cake for this costume. What do you think?
