This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennifer, the 'Olive Oyl' costume creator:
My daughter Alyvia (4 months old) is dressed as the classic cartoon character, "Olive Oil". I chose this costume because I just thought that the character's personality fit her well! She loves everyone but she especially loves her daddy who to her is her hero! (like Popeye is to Olive Oil in the cartoon!)
How to Instructions:
Olive Oil: I bought a black skirt and shirt at a consignment store and glued yellow felt on it to make the trim. I used white felt to make the collar. The headband is a crocheted piece that a friend made for me. She is also wearing white stockings and black booties.
