One-Man Band Costume

We took apart my son’s child drumset, which he had outgrown and used the largest drum as his bass drum, attaches with some heavy-duty backpack straps. Rigged some thick straps to loop through the heel of his Keens shoe to the foot pedal near the drum, which sounded whenever he stomped with that foot. Used elastic to strap the cymbals around his knees. Added a bike horn, accordion (borrowed), and harmonica, which we already had. He’s a musical kid, so this was a great, interactive costume for him! A huge hit!
