This homemade costume for groups entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.

These are 3 of the Jaegers from the 2018 movie Pacific Rim Uprising
All of these costumes were constructed out of EVA Foam floor mats. These took about 6 months overall to make. The cost combined was about 3000$. Each piece of armor was hand patterned and then transferred to foam. The foam was then heated to shape, glued together and then hand painted. There are some additional details added to these costumes to make them stand out. Such as LED's, motors and fans.
The 3 characters depicted are Gipsy Avenger, Guardian Bravo and Bracer Phoenix. After watching this movie, we decided we had to make costumes similar to the movie, because we loved them so much.
