This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Courtney, the 'Parrot' costume creator:
My daughter loves tropical birds so I combined several ideas from the one and only Pinterest! The skirt is layered tulle (about $30). The red shirt ($10) has a red boa ($5) sewn to the bottom and a multi-colored boa ($5) sewn to the hood. The wings are from Chasing Fireflies ($30) and the glasses are from eBay (about $2) with feathers and a foam nose glued on! She loves it and my house is covered in feathers!!
