Party Pooper Costume

This is my hubby the party pooper! I was inspired by a pre made costume I saw online. I enjoy putting our costumes together every year, but this is the first time I actually had to build pretty much the whole costume. It's constructed from cardboard box's,white spray paint, a lot of tape and hot glue, and a ton of trial and error. I covered the bowl with white fabric to give it more of an authentic toilet look, and used the same fabric to cover his legs and make the toilet pedestal. The legs are made from a pair of leggings stuffed with polyfil and socks and slippers sewn to the bottom. We attached a real flusher handle and finished it off with balloons, a party hat the we put "every party has a pooper" on, a party blower, and a party pooper t-shirt. We cut holes in the t-shirts and box to thread a pair of suspenders through to hold the costume on him. The reaction was great at the Halloween party we attended! It was a ton of work, but was very fun to see come together. The total cost to make this costume was about $55.
