Party Rock Anthem Shuffle Bot Costume

This is my 4 1/2 year old son, Luke as the Party Rock Anthem Shuffe Bot. This is what he had wanted to be ever since he first saw the LMFAO video. I sewed this from a childrens hoodie/jacket pattern skinny jeans pattern (with a few extra zippers added). I had found the all-over gold foil snakeskin fabric and I knocked out some of the foil print with Textile ink solvent to give it the distressed look. His head is a cardboard box with attached spools, painted gold, lined with upholstry foam and a screen mesh mouth. The eyes are holes with a cardboard insert and battery powered LED mini Christmas lights.
