Pawrate Pup Costume

I picked up a small pirate harness dress several years ago at a flea market, so that was the base of this costume. Then, I pinned a Dollar Tree pirate vest to fit. I also added a Dollar tree pirate hat and a Dollar Tree hook. I pinned a small piece of fabric to cover Samantha's upper leg and placed her paw in the hook and she balanced it there for the pic. We also made her a custom skull eye patch out of a sheet of white foam paper and pipe cleaners. The pirate set up in the background was courtesy of my boyfriend's mother and she sets up a Halloween display every year.
