Pennywise Costume

So my daughter Ainsley is 7 and has always loved creepy clowns since she was about 3. This year she decided she wanted to be pennywise. So..

We bought a shirt at the goodwill for $2, and her pants are actually my leggings just pulled up really high, and then wrapped a lace vest that we already had up around her neck. For the the "belt" we used brown yarn and just tied it around in a knot in two different spots and made pompoms out of the yarn and tied those on as well. Threw on some black boots and her outfit was complete.

Her hair is short and always so crazy so all we had to do was flip over her head, spray some orange and red in there, give a little shake and it was perfect. No wig needed.

Then of course we bought some red balloons for the occasion and we were good to go with one creepy looking yet happy little girl!
